Questions
Teacher Training FAQ
Who is the program for?
Aspiring Pilates teachers, movement professionals and experienced students who are ready to learn to teach the Classical Method. Prior dance, Pilates or fitness experience is helpful but not required.
What do I need to enroll?
A completed application, current CPR certification, and the Teacher Readiness Program, where you learn the intermediate Mat and Reformer work before you begin to teach it.
How much does it cost?
The Teacher Readiness Program is $895 and the Teacher Training Program is $5,500. Full details, payment options and books are listed at Creative Arts Pilates.
How many students are in each program?
Each program is limited to 12 students, two per reformer combo unit, so every student gets hands-on time. A program runs with a minimum of six students.
What if the minimum enrollment is not reached?
If fewer than six students enroll, a new date will be set. You can keep your place for the new date or receive a full refund of all fees paid.
Can this lead to the National Pilates Certification Exam?
The core program is 350 hours. The optional Advanced Weekend brings your training to 450 hours, the total generally required to sit for the National exam.
