Dianne Vita
Certified Pilates Instructor

Dianne Vita's journey to become a certified Pilates instructor is nothing short of transformative. Once struggling with her weight and physical fitness, Dianne faced the everyday challenges that come with a sedentary lifestyle. Overweight and lacking energy, she knew she needed a change - not just for herself,
but for the sake of her overall health and well-being.

While in college, and throughout her adulthood, Dianne had intermittently practiced Mat Pilates. She enjoyed it, but it was so difficult in her physical condition. She found a Pilates studio with equipment & dedicated herself to moving daily, as well as a calorie reduced diet. It worked. The weight came off, but she also gained strength, flexibility & mobility.

Dianne became a teacher with a mission: to inspire individuals on their own journeys toward health and wellness. With a compassionate approach, she understands the struggles her clients face, having walked level. She creates a welcoming and inclusive environment in her classes, encouraging each student to honor their body and progress at their own pace.

With a commitment to lifelong learning, Dianne continues to expand her knowledge base, exploring the classical style of Pilates, as well as the teachings of 2nd generation teachers like Romana Kryzanowska, Ron Fletcher & Jay Grimes. She remains dedicated to her mission: empowering others to find their strength and embrace the joy of movement. Dianne Vita is not only a teacher but a living testament to the incredible change that Pilates can inspire.

Kylie Mulholland
Certified Pilates Instructor

Kylie Mulholland was a Former Division 1 Softball player and has been instructing Joseph Pilates’ methods of exercise for two years now! Her passion is surfing (big reason she moved to Melbourne Beach). She learned how to teach on the reformer. She found that the reformer is a lot like moving through water with the resistance the machine gives you, and the levels of springs to use. Using the reformer helps Kylie as a surfer, but also helps with lengthening and strengthening the body without putting too much weight on the skeletal system.

She is a big believer of listening to your body and the Pilates method allows you to do so. She also instructs a high intensity interval training program (HIIT) that is much more vigorous; in essence, it’s a bootcamp. She likes to cross-train to keep her cardiovascular system where it needs to be and to push herself every week! Kylie is high energy and she always feel like a champion after each workout. Her goals is for clients to feel accomplished when they have finished their session.

Tonia Heidenreich
Certified Pilates Instructor

A classically trained ballerina, Ms. Heidenreich received her traditional Pilates certification in 1999 from Colleen Glenn of Glenn Studios in Dallas, TX. Her passion for health, wellness, injury prevention and rehab led her to hang up her pointe shoes and focus full time on helping others find comfort and confidence in their own bodies.

Tonia has spent the past 25 years studying anatomy, proper body mechanics and injury rehabilitation to teach her students the benefits of the Pilates method as originally taught by Joseph H. Pilates. She has attended the Pilates Method Alliance conference in Denver, CO as well as continuing education courses with master teachers from all over the country.

Her desire to educate others on the classical Pilates tradition has led her to help train the next generation of teachers through instructor training programs for both Pilates Unlimited (Dallas, TX) and In Balance Pilates (Wilmington, NC). Having recently relocated to Melbourne Beach from Charleston, SC, she is excited to be given the opportunity to join the incredible team of instructors at Pilates On Fifth.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Find answers to common questions about classes, pricing, scheduling & more.
What is Classical Pilates?
Classical Pilates is the original physical fitness system developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century. It follows a specific, traditional sequence of exercises performed on the mat and specialized apparatus, like the Reformer, Trapeze Table, Chair, Barrels etc. The method strictly preserves his original principles, focusing on core strength, control, precision, and breath.
What should I wear?
We want you to be comfortable. You should wear form-fitting, comfortable athletic clothing without buttons or zippers. These can get caught in the springs or tear our upholstery. Choose fitted tank tops or t-shirts that stay in place when you are upside down, high-waisted leggings or fitted shorts so your instructor can check your body alignment, and grip socks, if you prefer to keep your feet covered. Going barefoot is always appropriate, as well.
Do I need experience?
No, you do not need any prior experience to start Pilates. The system is designed to be highly adaptable for absolute beginners. The beauty of Classical Pilates is that it will meet you wherever you are today & help you learn how to move your body safely and with confidence. The apparatus, although it can appear intimidating, actually supports your body weight & guides you through the movements.
How do I book a class?
Just Click Here and choose the type of appointment you want (Private, Duo or Private with Master Instructor), then choose a teacher & you’ll see available days/times. Alternatively, you can call us during business hours & our staff would be happy to get your appointment scheduled. Finally, you can call during non-business hours & leave a message. A member of our staff will return your call to confirm that your appointment is booked.
What is your cancellation policy?
To ensure all our clients have access to open spots in our classes, we require a 24-hour cancellation notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full. We also value your time and our instructors schedules. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please let us know 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged in full for the appointment.
What is the difference between Group, Private and Semi-Private instruction?
The main differences between these sessions are instructor attention level, cost, and customization of the workout.

Our Group classes are limited to six participants. The instructor leads a generalized, pre=planned workout for the entir room.
PROS: Most affordable option & offers a fun, community energy.
CONS: You receive minimal individual correction, and exercises cannot be highly tailored to your specific injuries.

Private (1-on-1)
It’s just you and the instructor, focusing in on a 100% customized workout plan, set for your goals, body alignment and physical needs.
PROS: Maximizes safety, accelerates progress, and gives you full access to all studio apparatus.
CONS: This is the most costly type of session.

Semi-Private (2 to 3 clients)
You share the instructor’s attention with a friend(s), partner or peer(s) of similar skill level.
PROS: More affordable than a private session, but still offers significantly more individualized coaching than a group class.
CONS: You must coordinate your schedule with another person, and the workout must accommodate both of your needs.
